The Art of Time Suckage

Anyone who indulged in the cult movie "Reality Bites" back in the '90's will recall the infamous line delivered by Winona Ryder's character to her friend Troy - " I have to work around here, and, unfortunately, Troy, you are a master at the art of time suckage".


I am a victim of the modern form of time suckage which is the internet and today I'm struggling big time to avoid it's pull!   And how can I when there is SO much that is inspiring, inspirational and just down right delicious out there in cyber space!?


I do wonder how others of you get your housework/or any other kind of work done with a computer in your living space?


This is what I have been distracted by today:

This to die for idea for shelves in your kiddie's room via Mamamia

and a good ol' favourite - Young House Love

and another favourite blog "Bower Power" - with this letter that has had me thinking a LOT about the concept 

I hope you're getting more done than me today.  As soon as I hit "Publish Post", I swear I'm getting off my butt  to tackle the following chores:

- fold the pile of washing on the couch

- take washing out of dryer

- replenish with half dry load on the washing line

- handwashing

- do dishes

- unload dishwasher

- unload steriliser

- put on dinner

- vacuum

- tidy counter & dining table

- keep fire going

- put together packing inventory for trip next week
